The Stadia Controller is a premium gaming pad designed to provide seamless, high-fidelity input for cloud and local gameplay alike. It offers a familiar layout—dual analog sticks, D-pad, four primary face buttons, bumpers and triggers—wrapped in a sleek and comfortable ergonomic body. Unique to this controller are two dedicated function buttons: a Capture button for instantly taking screenshots or recording gameplay clips, and a Google Assistant button for voice commands or contextual help. The controller supports wired play via a USB-C connection, and originally was built to connect directly to Google’s game streaming servers over Wi-Fi for ultra-low latency.
